Q-deliberation – meeting summary

Dear Readers,

last week we succeeded in carrying out the Q-deliberation research and organized a workshop for 80 participants from Nysa and Raciborz on valuing tree felling on private land.

We would like to thank all the participants who decided to devote their time to us – we hope that it was a valuable experience and great fun, like for us!

Second meeting with our Advisory Committee

This year, the time has come for a second meeting with the Advisory Committee of our project, which includes: prof. dr hab. Zbigniew Kundzewicz, Head of the Department of Climate and Water Resources Research, Institute of Agricultural and Forest Environment of the Polish Academy of Sciences, an employee of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, prof. dr hab. Andrzej Mizgajski, Head of the Department of Integrated Geography, Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences, Adam Mickiewicz University, and Leszek Kurek, Deputy Director of the Poznań Forest Department.

Discussion on the results of research carried out so far and plans for further stages of the project took place on 19 September in place as beautiful as last year. This year we visited the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kórnik, where we could admire the local arboretum. Now that we have been enriched with constructive criticism and words of support from such prominent specialists, all we have to do is make the necessary adjustments and move on. You can read about the results of the next research within the project in the next news!
